The situation

The real work happens away from a laptop. Status lives in WhatsApp, paper, or a desktop tool that nobody opens in the field. Managers cannot see what is done; field staff cannot see what is next.

What we typically build

A focused mobile app for the daily loop: today's jobs, capture, and a simple status back to the office. We keep the first version small enough to use with gloves, bad signal, and a half-charged phone.

What we refuse to skip

  • Online and degraded-network behaviour is designed, not hoped for
  • The office still needs a web view or export — we do not trap data in the app
  • Store submission and the update cadence are part of the plan
